numbness in finger tips ,please help

    hi friends,

    i am raji in my 25 th week of pregnency due is in jan 2011.i feel numbness on my finger tips . it occurs fast, even if i do any work for 2-3 minutes. then i f i stop the work and iam fine. i am worried a bit now . it started last week till then i was fine. meeting my gynec on this week . anybody experienced this ? please share it with me . when i asked my frnds none of them faced this before.

    please let me know if u knw anything about this condition?

    dear IH,
    thanks for ur kind words. i met the dr today. she gave me some b complex tablet and ask me to do my GTT next week. she thinks it may be some prgnency induced nerve compression. will know about it later.

    but i was wondering not even one in IL had this condition?
    any way thank you very much for ur reply. eventhough u didnt know anything about this u r words were really soothing.

    Congrats and all the best for healthy delivery....

    here I m with you.....I too face the same prob that u mention.....from my 7th month i forgot to have a peaceful sleep bcoz of this....but my doctor said it's normal.....
    hu abt ur tests? hope all is well :)

    i am taking the b complex tabs now . my Gtt has done .will get the report today and meet the gynec . hope ur doing well .

    Raji same here, at sleep I do feel numbness on rare occassions, when I think of it now. It doesn't last long..It didn't bother, as a lot of aches and pains come with pregnancy.

    hi barbies,
    ya its true that pains and aches r normal during pregnency. we blame it on the hormones:) . i get numbness when i do any work for 2-3 minutes. i thought its something relted to blood circulation or haemogloboin.

    but i did the blood test , urine and GTT . for gods sake everything is normal.

    hi deep my reports r normal . dr asked me to take the tablet for 1 month and then see .

    i stay near marthahally in bangalore . happy to c another bangalorean who miss mom food:)
