Dear Sridhar Sir, Thats just great. In these 4000 posts how many thoughts u would have shared with Ilites. I want to read all the posts but the time does not permit me. Everything should be collected and published in the book form. It would help and enlighten us in every walks of life. Keep going and share more and more with ilites. we r the privileged lot to have u here.

I still consider that my achievement here in IL is not that I was the first male member, not that I got the very first prize announced in IL in 2005, it is not even that I have completed 4000 posts. The real achievement is that I have a place in the hearts of you all. That to me is a remarkable achievement. May God give me the wisdom, strength and love to stay there for ever.

That was really poetic. And if you are going to write such posts when my posts cross some numbers, I would be writing quite a lot, multiply my posts by the thousands, eager to see your poetic greetings.

I have read a thousand quotes of GB Shaw not this one. It was quite amusing though when the reference is to me it is quite out of place.

Incidentally I remember another anecdote in connection with Shaw's vegetarianism. When he switched over to Vegetarianism his doctors issued a stern warning that he would die soon.
When Shaw successfully completed 20 years of vegetarianism a press meet was convened. Shaw remembered the warning issued by his Doctors 20 years ago.
One reporter asked him, "Why don't you call them up now and tell them that they were wrong?"
"I would love to," replied Shaw. "But none of those Doctors are alive today."
