Vandhana About To Become A Golden Girl!

Vandhana a senior moderator and a frequent contributor to the forum, is about to hit gold soon. She is on her 998th post and within no time she will reach her thousand to become a golden girl.

I should have waited till she actually touches the 1000 mile stone. But do we not start threads for our friends' birthdays a few days in advance? My b'day thread was started two days earlier. Applying the same logic, I have started this thread just two posts earlier.

Vandhana, I know that you were one of the prime-movers in the Elite Status system. And now it is my pleasure to recognise you under the system you co-created with the rest of the MOBs.

On the whole I have been enjoying your posts. You always stay in clear waters, steering yourself clear of all controversies and objections.

May you post more and more and soon enter the Hall of Fame of this wonderful site.

My 1000 th post is in response to you!!. Thank you for starting this thread for me. I do see that IL has grown by leaps and bounds in these past 2 plus months that I have been away. And its great to see so many people interacting here( being one of the early members of IL). Anyway, I should say that by and large, IL has steered clear of controversies and objections, and it just is a reflection on the nature of all our IL members, who interact here on a daily basis with a right atitude. Be sure that if some one were to raise any controversies or objections regarding IL, i will be there like a Matador with the red cloth defending the site .

Thanks again Sridhar, it is wonderful to be part of this IL Family and yes i will post more . But at my pace to reach Hall of Fame, I think I will have to live well beyond 90 for that
