Kindly bear with me ( because i 'm always so !  ) .Its no exaggeration if i say that i enjoyed every second of our meet at your place ! I really felt at home - never could i imagine that i was in a new place or a stranger to you all ! The sole credit goes to you , Bhooma ! You ARE a perfect host ! Enjoyed the yummy food , prepared by you & other friends ! I felt as though i could also have prepared something & shared with you all . Somehow it didn't strike me . Sorry . I can never forget the food & chat we all had during & after lunch ! Uma , vidya , gowri mam , brindha kutti , Jai - all were unassuming & so friendly - cutting jokes , pulling legs etc . etc. Thanks Bhooma , for having taken pains for arranging this wonderful , unforgettable , enjoyable meet ! I too join others in thanking Jey & Malathy for this wonderful meet through IL ! love, Indhu.

| Re: Meet on 30th august 2008 Hi all those who attended the August meet, We saw the pictures and write up only today. How I wish I could have been there! Bhooma the next meet will also be in Adyar after we return to India and it will be in my house. I am really totally immersed in my daughter and her family but I do miss all of you. My husband (gopalan1937) reads all the news of IL and tells me. I have been meanining to write to all my IL friends but kept putting it off. I corresponded with Gowri once or twice. She seems to be a really interesting and nice person to know. I remember Uma from our previous meet. Indu and Vidya too are new faces. I am interested in the painting too. Sridhar sir you have disappointed us because you appear when we are not there. My husband Gopaln 1937 wanted so much to meet you. |
