Thanks for posting these valuable pictures, the treasure of photo albums in IL is increasing with every passing day.

thanks. Glad am I to find another member of MSOD Club. You know what it is - Mortally Scared of Dogs Club.

We did have a good time and one thing that stood out was that none of the members were of the assuming type. Most of them were talented painters and skilled artists. I was bowled over by the affection they showed on me treating me almost like a celebrity, which certainly I am not.

Maybe something went wrong yday.. because i had written a remark too on each photo.. but when I saw the "posted" version., i found all that missing !!

maybe i could try again..

or better still.. let me tell you and u can all go back again...

There was one sari clad woman and that was our dear Kaluputti (gowri).

Varalotti and Indushri.. ofcourse you can recognise them !!

Uma is the one in the green salwar and Brindha is the cute little girl

Vidya is the one wearing glasses and me is the orange salwar and Babujai..

hope itsok. next time around I will have someone more comp savvy to post the photos

That was a pretty good write up about the meet. you have said it all. It was indeed a very friendly & exciting meet. I can't find words enough to thank Bhooma ma'am & shridhar sir (and all the rest) for not only making the day a great success but also for describing it so beautifully. thank you Bhooma ma'am & uma for the excellent food.
I would like to continue from when we left your flat .... I went to Gowri ma'am's house as she lived so close to mine. She was very generous to offer me to teach painting!! Thank you so much ma'am.... She also offered an excellent cup of hot decoction coffee!!! I also met her lovely mother but could not meet her grandson as he was sleeping..... she showed me her paintings as well....... i was bowled over
Thus the meet on 30th turned out for me not only to be one of great fun, food & friends party but also a meet with my future mentor

Hi everyone!

With so many nice narrations of the IL meet at bhooma's , mine might be obsolete.I was a bit nervous at first, as that was the first time, I was going to meet a group of persons I know only in the virtual world.But, the first time I called Bhooma, to confirm my participation, I was bowled over by the warmth in her voice!When I told her that, I am a 'brunch' @ 10 a.m. person, she coolly suggested that, I have a 'breakfast-lunch' day on the day of the meet!

I have to ention this!When I was roaming along the streets, with bhooma's voice directing me over the mobile, she said that she was standing in the balcony of her house, and suggested that I look for her.Suddenly, I could see two frantic pairs of hands waving.(bhooma+her maid)...and.....a cute dog, with half of his body above the railing!I suddenly seemed to warm up for the meet.I just could not wait, till I could meet loving 'joshua', and introduced myself.It was only a split second later, that a breathless bhooma dashed in and introduced herslf.I cannot even imagine the scene, if it had been varalotti, indusri duo, instead of me!
It was a wonderful few hours spent with wonderful people, incl.joshua, for me.Thanks to IL!
Thank you all, bhooma,uma+cute brindha,babujai,vidya, not to speak of varalotti sir, and lovely indusri for the warmth and affection.It was a fantastic lunch prepared with so much love and effort, which I would have regretted, had I missed it! Thanks for the book, Mr.sridhar, I will give my feedback soon. vidya's homemade sweet sweeped everyone off their feet.Poor bhooma had to pack away everything!

Dear Sridhar,
you are very very correct, we keep on talking on line and when we meet, it is really like continuing the conversation. That is why we feel so warm when we meet!
Another thing is, IL is a place for people to be themselves, whatever they are in the real world. We become friends by reading each other's thoughts and ideas first and then only meet, not the other way round. So we vibe well!
Joshua did not much like me when we met, may be because Bhooma was so loving towards me and he felt threatened. You have company in my house, Archana is scared even when she sees a dog 10 metres away.
Now I shall wait for the next meet when you will be coming, what else could I do?
