Happy meet at Lata akka’s house on 20.07.2008

Thank u Ramya for ur nice post......The snaps have come out well and ur write up.........no words to explain that as usual..........Great Ramya...Keep it up........

And Lata, i have to tell this...........ur way of welcoming everybody was really gud and Rishi (my son) doing all nonsense by throwing here and their everything..............in her bedroom..........she didn't even feel bad and didn't even show her face and telling me let him enjoy..........that's nice of u Lata............because some people won't like kids doing all such activities......and my son is still telling about the tiger which he saw in ur house..........when i think of that tiger.........it reminds me of Meena (Meena with the tiger snap.............when her first visit to Lata's house)

and Shanthi and Veda................who made this meet happen........i have to thank them, that i got a chance to meet atleast a few of our IL members....at last it was the case that i know Veda before...............he recognised me........he is my uncle's friend.......

Lata's grandfather (i think Ramya and Lata missed him) he also joined us for 5 to 10 mins..........that itself a big time for him as he is 95 years old (Lata, correct me if i am wrong)

Great to meet Varloo mam, sharada, laxmi, padma..........

V had a very good day and enjoyed ............. from ur write i think i have missed some of the events happened after the lunch session, as i started early.........

anyway i will compensate them in the next meet.........

Glad to see your faces behind the names, I guess, it is a combination of Middle East & Chennai meet up! Now, after visiting Chitra madam house the next choice for everyone... it is going to be Latha murali. I always see her smiling in all the photos, I really like people who smile a lot & her smile can tell.... that she is a good host! Right?

By the way, Latha murali...when I come to Chennai, I want to see your Iyappan temple!Am I allowed inside?

We too missed you........actually you are the first person who agreed imm'y to join us for the meet,so we didnt expect this sudden change in your programme.but what to do , as u said that is ur duty to take care of ill grandma and thatsvery important too...so we missed this chance also to seeyou in person......but dont worry dear....you can come to my place anytime jus give me a call.hope u hav my number and i will surely inform you if i plan for someother meet......

And ,as you said, ramya has written sooooooooooo well about the meet, so even those who have not attended the meet will feel their presence by her writeup...

Its my pleasure to invite you all and will we get those nice moments ???, if we dont invite people or give hearty welcome or turn our face to them........i feel relationship is very important than anything.to me SHARING IS HAPPINESS....and thanks to my DH for allowing me to conduct all these meet and participating with enthu....without his co-operation, i cant do this......am i right???

Rishi is very small kid, how can i blame him for doing so, even krishna behaves in same way ....all these are unavoidable....and these can be cleaned , so no big issue

And, we were jus relaxing after u left , Rajmi came with her family, so had nice time with her and her kids, i love them......she didnt eat anything except coffee and cake...... and kids showed their talents, krishna was singing all his rhymes and slokams, and charu was singing "enna dhavam saidhanai yasodha....", and krishna played in keybopard and charu too, and we had tea, coffee and me and shan cleaned all the mess in the table and meena sweeped the entire house and even ramya and others were helping me to clean all mess......my sincere and loving THANKS to all my friends....

Then , sharadha took varloo mam along with her, agreed to drop her somewhere near to her place and rajmi too started very early, as she was very tired........and then shanthi and family went , she took ramya with her and we dropped meena in sanatorium station by 6.30......

Nice write up, Ramya...what more I can say about that...
Glad to see the colorful ladies, of course (gents, included) with colorful menu....what a treat...
Lata, sure to make a visit when I come to Chennai, next time..before that my parents would be there to meet you sometime soon...

Its 100000010% BLISSFUL TREAT........whats the doubt in that????? and its my pleasure to invite whoever come to my place , iam sure, my doors will be open to welcome you all........ but, iam nothing infront of chit mam ...so dont compare me with her....( ofocurse , its a BIG HONOUR for me...) and ..only very very few Ilites have come to my place......and waiting to see more...

That was a great write up. My daughter is Surabi and not Sharmili. It is a real nice spread. I should really thank Lata for packing me some of the stuff. I loved the Mango pickle very much. Infact I had sprained my ankle and was unable to move. But as we had gone out to a family get together, I forced my husband to stop at Lata's house before going home. I should really thank him for accepting it. This gave me an opportunity to meet people. I should thank Sharadha for waiting. I made her wait a little too long.

But it was very nice to meet you all. Thanks Lata and Shanti for making this meet happen.
