IL Family meet in Dubai

Dear Swetha, Usha, Preethi, Sylvia,

Thanks you for your kind wishes & encouraging words.

The meet up is scheduled on Thursday, the 22nd May at 5.30 pm

The venue primarily was a garden since all of us will be with our tots, but since the climate has started getting warmer we will now be meeting at the games section at Al Wahda Mall.

We do have quite a few IL's in Auh, but since they do not log in too often they are not aware abt the meet.
As of now there are just 5 of us i.e. Manpreet, Jess, Priya, Annapoorna & me .. all accompanied by toddlers
This is just a small beginning..but Im sure we shall have more additions to our Auh family when we meet up next.

The kids & the menfolk too had their own company.

Is it possible to post pics with names of all our IL friends..So that we could have names to the faces to whom we communicate.

As an auditor it's always my duty to find out the mistakes. I found two major mistakes in the post, Usha.
Number one, it was not a meet, but an IL conference. Because to my knowledge this should have been the largest meet. (Senior ILites correct me if I am wrong)
Second mistake. It was not as if members of 14 families attended the meet. The meeting was attended by some of the members of one large, loving family called the IL.
Jokes apart it was pure joy to read an account of the meet. The photos were quite impressive.
The joy in the faces of ILites is quite infectious.
You have made my day, ILites.

Glad to know about the meet!! Couldn't keep in touch regularly for the meet as my system was down. Would definitely love to meet all of you the next time.

For a moment, I was wondering what the mistakes were & was wiping the sweat on my brows (I remembered Salangai Oli Kamalhasan..repeating 2 mistakes..) Now I am rolling in laughter...
I was also thinking that this was the first meet with maximum numbers. Now our auditor has confirmed the same.

The ILs of Dubai has made a commendable step and is sure to be a trendsetter..They proved that we are Indians where ever we are ,looking beyond the boundaries of language or territory..
