What a write up! Thanks Sridhar. I could almost 'see' all of you having a gala time with your food being neglected on the plates and busy Brigade road just buzzing outside. All this happening in my B'lore and I am not even there:( Atleast Sudha says she will be there every year, I don't even know when I will be there next. But whenever, I hope we can then meet?! I know, too much to hope for. Atleast, I can invite all of you to my place in NJ, US. Please plan a meet here:)

Sridhar, even I have to side with Sudha and agree with Pankaja m'am that your wife must have looked like a sister to Preethi! (atleast, I am trying to be diplomatic! This way, I may feast in Madras with Chitra and also party at Madurai!!)

After reading the wonderful account of your meeting, I am eagerly awaiting to see the pics. BTW, Vidya, are you there...where are your promised pics??!

I am happy you liked my post. We'd love to have a meeting at NJ. I'll tell you what you should do. Simple. We'll all wait at Chennai/Madurai/Bangalore. Arrange a special craft to pick us up. We'll fly to your place have a nice meeting and fly down to our base. Howzzat? ha ha ha.
I am now only getting to know what women will do for a feast these days. We used to say in Tamil "Poi Sonna Vaikku Bhojanam Kidayathu." (The mouth which lies will not get anything to eat). You have made the proverb stand on its head. Bhojanathirkkaha poi solrathu. That is lying just for the purpose of food (feast).
Anyhow it's my duty to communicate this to Indhu who is already on Cloud 99 (she was on Cloud 9 when Pankaja uttered the whitest lie in the universe and sprang to Cloud 99 when Sudha confirmed it; after hearing your views she might be on Cloud 999 after she hears your words).
I am wondering Kamla, whether we should change the name of the site to INDUSLIES.COM.
