"The IL's Maargazhi Twin Feast"-meet that gained momentum

"IndusLadies" face to face meet : Hats off to Mrs.Pushpavalli Srinivasan.

Today viz Saturday, 22nd December 2007, a day of rejoice for all of us at Pallikaranai in Mrs.Pushpavalli Srinivasan's hospitality vibrant home. Yes. "Sath-Chith-Ananda" normally learned scholars of real values say. I experienced, why all the ILites enjoyed "Chit-Vish-Ananda".
Age cannot wither her; nor customs stale her infinite variety. The Bard of Avon, the Princely Shakespeare's description of Cleopatra, I could visualize.

Age cannot be the criterion for positive oriented work activities. "Biological age" always begs to the "Activity age". Its all the more significant in that when I, RamyaVaradharajan, along with my divine mom, Malathy Varadharajan, entered the IL Host's "Sriniketan" (House name), Mrs.Pushpavalli's Sringara Bhavan which accommodated all the ten plus ILites very easily. The hospitality of the so-called "old" raised our inspiration to Himalayan heights! Please do not think even for an iota of time that I am reeling; its all real to the core!!

Its really continuing in my mind and heart, in spite of the fact grammatically speaking all of us met each other by 11.00a.m heart to heart because closer with not only very valuable (Knowledge is Power) Knowledge as a Bacon would say; but also with highly delicious items of mind boggling varieties comprising of the Royal Pulliyodharai; the Fuzzy Coca cola cake of the Marvel Chitvish special; the world famous Kaancheepuram idly; the mellifluous medhu-vada; the Jum-Jum Jaamoon; the ILite special Appalam; and an all applause gaining "sweet and sour" pickles duo by Chitvish ma'am; and a host of other items were relished by the "guests" with Gusto!!

Up to 3.00p.m each and every one of the ILites learnt and exchanged not only "Ananda" but also "Vivekam". Yes, definitely I felt there emerged "Vivekanandam" in me. I do realize such meets are the essence of life. This type of practical education takes us nearer the Divine horizon. "Education is surely the manifestation of Perfection already in man". But then, when we ate together with positive words and thinking environment; with lush, greenery and green plantain leaves with "Nala Bhaaga", we experienced "Swargaanubhava".

To mention the faces behind the user names, I relished my ever first get together with the humble most "Chitvish ma'am"; lovely and dear "Pushpavalli ma'am and her noble husband "Srinivasan sir"; their active daughter "Mrs.Malathy Jagan ma'am"; my dear friend "MeenaNeelakantan"; Mrs.Preethi ma'am (who could join us when she was here for a short duration from the U.S); Sudha Balaji ma'am who came with her non-IL friend Gayathri (who promised to become an ILite soon); witty "Booma ma'am" and dear "Lakshmi ma'am".

A great time we all had. Not to leave out on the worthy ever green peaceful serene of the locality (maintained by Srinivasan sir) that enchanted mother nature's beauty.

"Thanks giving"..!!! Would that be right on this context?? Or should it be a "tribute"?? My mind takes a seat at the back; thereby i relax with a cup of soothing tea with lingering memories spent on the "julha" (oonjal) in madam's place on this auspicious day.

Chitvish ma'am (the gingerly effect : "Ginger Pullauv" reminisces the mellifluous "Sahana" emanating from the wafting musical air) will "graciously" add on spice to this thread by posting our group photo.

That was really an immediate "rejoinder" from your end!!

Thanks a ton for having been the first visitor of this thread. I would definitely say that all other ILites missed something auspicious. Not to sound naive but truly speaking the lingering memories would continue to unravel the mysterious relationship that we all established today!!

Yes, we keep on doing "repeat performance" !
Hardly 20year old youngsters enjoying merrily the company of 60+ ladies - this is possible only in an ILites meet.
RamyaVaradharajan & Meenaneelakantan (capital lettered one!) are both industrial bio tech sudents, who will be taking up their careers in Accenture & Infosys, shortly.They are bubbling with energy.
Ramya's mom Subham, also an ILite is a very smart lay, an academician. She was happily complaining how RV is always browsing IL !
Sudhabalaji is a young housewife whose son represents her avatar.
Lakshmi1945 has recently joined IL. Her daughter in law is my namesake, with a delightful user id chitu sri.
You are familiar with Pushpavalli, Malathijagan, Bhooma & me, your good "old" (pun intended) chitvish.
Priya27, is here on a vacation from the USA & joined us, a little late.The following photo was taken before she arrived. She is an absolutely sweet looking, lovable girl.
Bhooma is planning the next meet in her house in January 2008.

I really missed something great today...............

change in my program, 'cause of my son was not feeling well.......and then i called Meena and told that i could not make up.....u start for the meet, because v all planned to join and go together.

i was thoroughly ready for the meet, dressed, packed gift for Pushpavalli Mam.........but i could not make it.

sure i will join the next meet.........without fail

after reading the write up of Ramya.........i feel as if i attended the meet.......and i heard everything over phone through Meena. she told me that v all enjoyed a lot........especially Pushpavalli mam's husband and his hospitality, something great it seems.

Chitra Mam...........i missed ur ginger Pulav, cake and sweet and sour pickle........
