We, the Chennai ILites did it again !

Dear Friends,
There was a lunch meet fora few ILites today in my house.

in Ask Chitvish, is in India on a visit and has come to Chennai for deepavali. She had PMed me that she would like to meet a few ILites in my house.
What better excuse for me to arrange a lunch meet & punish the ILites?
The following attended
Shubhavasudevan, Bhargavi Chakravarthy, Shanvy, Lathamurali, Jananikrithsn, Bhooma, Hasita, Sowmini Vibu, Pavithra Sriram and ofcourse my friend Ms Cheeniya.
Needless to say, we had one of the most enjoyable meets ( I am sure, I am repeating the same words for every IL meet, because that is an undeniable fact !) & thoroughly enjoyed the few hours, we spent together.
I am writing only about the new comers, whom I have not written about before:
Shubhavasudevan - (compared to us) quiet, but very friendly
Bhargavi Chakravarthy - a petite, sweet youngster ! I had conjured up a grown up woman, because her posts are very mature !
Bhooma - she mingled with us effortlessly though I have never interacted with her
Janani - very warm & very enjoyable company
Lathamurali - if she is present, there is no dearth for humour and laughter.A real live-wire !
Hasita - she was quiet more because we were breaking out into tamil, inadvertently
The others, I have already met and written about.
Time just flew as we chattered non-stop & had a roaring time.

Hmmmm.....! Yummy yummy and tempting! I missed out on this but it made me nostalgic of our get together of 11th August! Since my new home is getting its final touches, my presence is needed there constantly. we will be moving out there before Pongal. May be once I move out there we can have a rendevous there.

Nice chance to meet few IL personally.........everybody seems to be very friendly , we didnt feel like we are new to each other, we were chating like as if we know them for years...............

yet another IL meet and we guys just rushed in our names into the list...not to miss the gooooooood food and ofcoz the gaal time we had.......lata murali i shud say u r a real live wire as chith had mentioned..with lata arnd we can be assured of laughter laughter and more laughter.....all of us had a wonderful time at chiths place...chith the corn bake was just excellent and am cuming home for it once again....

as lata had said,none of us had the mind n ehart to leave at all...

It was wonderful meeting everybody.. and as Lata has rightly said ... it didnt look like we were meeting for the first time !! all of us were on easy terms right from the word 'go'.. it was fun fun fun all the way.

Chitra .. thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality...I wish I had half the enthu that you have !!! putting up with a whole bunch of screaming shrieking ladies !!!!

the food was yummy ... must try out all those recipes ....

I am now waiting for the next time when we can meet

But like they say.. all good things has to come to an end .. and we had to leave Chitra to get some peace !!!!

Thanks once again to our dear CM (Chief Minister, Chitra m'am, take it as you wish ), we got to meet more ILites at her place.

This time I got invited, instead of inviting people. And though I wasn't sure till the last minute whether I could join everybody, but at the same time not wanting to miss out, I ended up reaching quite late, keeping everybody hungry. Sorry about that all you ladies at the meet today

All new faces today, but all extremely friendly and boisterous ladies! :)
Esp. Latamurali, Shanvy, the 2 sisters (hey, I didn't know you ladies were sisters!). Bhargavi is a friendly and amicable gal, very easy to chat with. So also Janani, Bhooma, Subha (Vasudevan). Mrs. Cheeniya is a sweet lady, very quiet though.

Chitra m'am is a hostess par excellence, as usual. That's includes her attitude and her food.
Food is just too yummy! Always light, but so very tasty.
And all veg! (must mention this to my in-laws , who think the world of n-veg food only).

The sheer variety is awesome, colour-wise and taste-wise. How do you manage it all each time, dear Cm?
