We, the Chennai ILites did it again !

Hello Cheerful/Charming Chennaiites,
you all look so nice.Chihra, your jhoola has become a trade mark as your dishes and hospitality. You are rocking, what with the oncoming festival preparations. I should take not one but many lessons from you!
It is nice to see the spread also. I am sure you all had a rocking time and would be gloating and floating in cloud nine for days to come.

What more to say..well a group of il from south chennai were invited. only two of us could make it...me and lathamurali. I went and picked her and started off to chitmam's house...caught in the traffic...and we gave a commentary that we are here.we will be there in a while..so we kept everybody waiting...
As usual the flowers in the bowls were very inviting..today it was two white lotus in bowls..on either side of the door...

chithmam opened the door, a warm welcome as usual...
it was really charged inside..with pavithra,sowmini, janani, bargavi,bhooma, and shuba and mrs.cheeniya.

So pavithra is very sweet. as described by chitra. nice to meet her.
sowminin the sister is also sweet.both together can keep you engaged...(hey i did not mean talkative).
Bhargavi..i have interacted with her for some time...had conjured up an image..she did not fit the conjured image.. a petite young lady...matured outlook.
Bhooma...to be frank i have not interacted with her in any of the posts...She was very cheerful ...very easy to befriend...
Janani...She was a very girl next door kind...could relate to her...but i expected a different one from her posts...
Shubha..I think she was the most silent of the lot..she was more of a observer..loved talking to her also....friendly but reserved..i suppose it takes more time...
Latamurali...my god...the lady is a entertainer to the dot.....she can keep you holding your tummies...hey lata i laughed too much after a long time...
Hope sowmini is ok..
Hasitha -- so nice..she tolerated all of our rambling in tamil...i am sorry..but got carried off...hope you did not mind us all talking 4to40 in tamil...and malathy, she was very true to IL she wore the Indus lady t-shirt..
Mrs.Cheeniya was the usual serene, smiling, friend to whom you can talk..and feel comfortable...(there is a sense of humour lurking behind...all times...)
And how can i miss our host, the bubbly, cheerful, motherly chithmam..
And food, i really loved the food.

Its just wonderful to read all your posts and see the photos. Its like being there with you all for me and food desc felt like tasting it too. Already decided to try Kheermohan for deepavali. It is really nice of you all to post so reading each one's post felt like being there with each one of you. DId not miss a thing. Thanks to all of you for posting. looking out for more photos....

I am missing all this. My sister Latha murali is enjoying a lot. I am sure she would have enjoyed each and every item Chit ma'am made.

Chitvish Ma'am - I am eagerly waiting to see you when i come there. How do u manage to make so many things at one time??? You have patience. It is really nice of you to call everyone an make things happen.

Each and every ILite wants to visit you once atleast, i hopo you should have made a seperate budget for IL meet up expenses.

we had a great time at chitvish's house the other day great food by chitvish and amazing entertainment by latha murali wat more can u ask for!!!!!if u r with her ur guaranteed laughter 24*7!!!!!she was one amazing lady!!!!if someone doesnt look ok in the picture credit goes to latha because she used to crack a joke everytime a picture was taken!!!!!!

It was nice to see the snaps.
Hope to see Chitra mami soon and taste delicacies made by her. But got to wait for that till middle of next yr.

Mami are u in Mylapore? When I was born, my parents were there. They used to say, somewhere near the kovil. But we later moved to north india when i was 2yrs of age.

We moved to Chennai 2 yrs before my marriage.
Now my akka and thambi r in the city in Ramapuram(aka ramavaram).
