Dear Varloo, Yes, she spent a long time with me. An absolutely lovely youngster. Infact one of my threads for queries was started by her!! Thank God, when I read AAYIRAM.... I got a scare. You were kind enough to spare me, thanks. Love, Chithra.

Hi friends, I had a surprise visit to India this time and yesterday only, we all back to our home, NJ. Went to see Mrs.Chithra with my kids. As usual, she had showered with her loving words & lipsmacking foods; in addition, she demonstrated with a couple of dishes. Hereafter, will never worry how I am going to make badhushah as she created a new confidence in me. Got it registered very well and thanks to her. Even my family enjoyed the sweets thoroughly and suraikkai kheer, could not believe that it was made out of it. The taste still is there in my tongue. One more simple, but a tasty menu was carrot rice. And, forgot to say, pudina raitha, chanceless. Nawabi curry, kovakkai roast, semiya bahala bath, pudina raitha, rotis, rasam & on top of all, ice creams(vanilla and chocolate). I shd say that had put on couple of pounds due to the extended varieties. She also served us jamun, oh my...never ever tasted such a grand feast altogether. Due to varieties, could not enjoy a lot more, but everyone was amazingly great. Had a quality time with her and am recollecting those precious time even now. Thanks so much, Mrs.C.(sorry if I had missed out anything) Rama. Last edited by Ami; 19th August 2008 at 09:43 AM.

Dear friends, I am just back from my India vacation, we had a nice time with family and friends. During my India vacation, I got the opportunity to meet our DEAR CHITHRA and was able to spent some quality time with her. I have been interacting with her for the past 3years and was just waiting for this opportunity. She is a very warm, friendly and down to earth person and I thoroughly enjoyed her company. I just don't know how to express the immense pleasure I got in our meeting. She had prepared an array of dishes and the menu goes thus: Red pulao, shahi panneer, dhaba palak dhal, tandoori potatoes, rasam, plain rice, palak potato parathas, curds and caramel poha payasam. She was kind enough to give me a detailed demo of Badhusha and Ulundu vadai making with all tips. We both were continuously chatting and before I could realise it was time for me to leave. She was kind enough to pack Thayir vadai, Badhushas and Dhoklas for us. Regards Priya
