It was a great day in my life..........having got an opportunity to meet the Adhisaya Mangai (as one iLite call her) during my visit to Chennai on June 29th last when I went to visit my ailing mom.

My dear mom passed away on 18th July last. So I am coming back to the forum after a month........slowly accepting to come terms that my mom is no more.

I am so happy and excited to meet Chitvish with my daughter. I met her daughter and gorgeous grand daughter also. There were some very unusual dishes like mint idly, sweets, ice cream etc. The snacks were of great taste and very well presented (the signature style of chitvish).

I also was lucky enough to get a photo with chitvish in her swing. I am sharing the photo here.

Dear friends,
Today's visitor was Nithya1607.
She is very regular in my forum & a very enthusiastic cook!
She is relocating to Germany & is here enroute.
She came with her parents & daughter Thejasvi, a cute young child.
She brought, chocolate& nut coated burfi, which was a treat to the eyes as well as tongue.
She spent more time in my kitchen, going through every gadget in detail. An extremely pleasant smart youngster!!
It was my pleasure & privilege to spend time with her, Theju & her parents.

came home with her mother.
I have interacted minimum with her but had "fallen in love" with her beautiful name!! She is equally beautiful, young and needless to say, very warm. She is an IL Greeter - so oozes warmth!!
Ofcourse IL was the main topic of discussion.
For such a young girl, to come home to meet me! What else, but IL can be the reason? Ofcourse, the "mandatory" oonjal photo was taken by her mother.

Dear Friends,
Today's IL visitor was
Visalamkrishnan.
She is one of the most gifted artists, I have met. She is highly proficient In Tanjore Painting and takes global orders! Her paintings adorn Birla Mandir, Protima Bedi's Nrithyagram in B'lore etc.
She has done courses in baking (proficient to run a bakery), cookery, cosmetology....... th list is long. She takes painting classes at home. But she is a simple, unassuming, lovely looking woman, full of love for IL & ILites.
I thank her daughter ANU (also an ILite), for making her dear mother an IL member. As ever, two hours flew past!

I was very happy when a young, new ILite

visited me today!! At this age, I feel blessed that youngsters come to meet me!!
She has got married only in August & when searching for mehendi designs, "got stuck" to IL! Who ever will have the heart not to get used, call it, addicted to IL??
A very pleasant girl, Vidyaa is. She came with her (young!) mother Usha & sister Priya. I have asked her to take interest in cooking, gradually!!

I suddenly realise, I am the only person coming here! But why?? Don't you all meet? If so, why don't you post the photos of those whom we have not seen so far??
One ILite asked me, why I am posting my photo so frequently. But with every ILite who comes home, I have a photo taken & post it promptly.

came home with her husband Raghav. We have been interacting regularly for the past 2 yrs, ever since she joined IL.She has become so close and dear to me. She & Raghav are both employed in IT sector. She is a "regular" in my cookery & religious forums.
I was surprised when she mentioned that I am the first ILite, she is meeting. A very chirpy, delightful, warm friendly girl! I enjoyed her company immensely.
