Doha Rocks !!

Hi Friends,

Finally the most awaited and much expected Doha IL meet happened on Friday, 28th September at one of our IL (Balasri) house.

The meet turned to be much more exciting and fun-filled than expected..! I can surely assure on behalf of other ILites that those who attended the meet, are yet to come out of its hangover...with almost a day gone, I am still lingering with the thoughts and memories of those wonderful moments which lasted for almost 2 and half hours...

When the talk of IL meets was brouched within the IL, intially we were thinking of having the meet outside in a common place, it was Bala, our always friendly ILite, who offered to have the meet at her house. With the venue fixed, about 7 IL decided to meet and all of us made it for the get together with their children. (The first meet excluded all the respective husband-Poor souls we left them to have good time without us atleast for once).

The ILites who met were :

Perfect Entertainer
Bala - The wonderful host for all of us. It was the comfort feel that she gave of us over phone, even before we met, that made us feel at home the very moment we stepped into her house and till the last...she is the responsible moderator of the Doha IL, as she has meticulously collected and compiled all our details. If we want to know about any doha ladies in IL, she is the right person to approach...Bala's son is Srinath and a very nice boy.

Discovery Explorer
Latha Mohan - A very sweet lady with her son (Madhujit) and daughter (sorry latha, forgot her name). Though she talked less, she talked at right moments and added more fun in the conversation. A great traveller who has lived in lot of places inside and outside India, she seemed to have lived in almost all places where other IL (the attendees) have lived..So don't be surprised, if you happen to meet Latha the next door, if she happens to move out of Qatar.

Silent Smiler
LekhaSuresh - A very silent but very observant person...Her nice smile and laugh, were enough proof for how much she enjoyed the talk....Though she talked less, whenever she talked, it was enjoyable. She has inspired us to meet again with her talks about making the IL meet happen next month. She had come with her sweet daughter (siddhi).

Spiritful Traveller
Anudhar (Annapoorna) - A Very soft-spoken lady, the less talkative of the lot, whose presence made us feel very good. Her coming to the gathering was so special and very comdenable. She is living in Al-khor, a place which very far off and takes about an hour to reach doha, yet the spirit she showed in coming all the way from that far off place to meet the ILite's showed how much the meet meant to her.

Santoor Mom
Mallika - The young looking mother of two (Preethika and ...(sorry mallika, forgot your son's name). Also a very talkative lady, who clicked with all IL's instantly and was very vibrant. She was fun to be with. Ladies seeking fitness advices, I think Mallika would be a good counseller for you all.

Explosive Grenade
Revathy - Last but not the least, the mmmmmoooooooosttttttttt talkative Revathy, Her nonstop talk, her spontaneous jokes, her undying enthusiasm was something which added more spice to the IL meet....She came with her son, Inder, Very naughty cute boy.

and of course……………. PreethiJ

The first to come to Bala's house was Latha Mohan, followed by me and Revathy, Anudhar , LekhaSuresh and Mallika.

What followed after was two and a half hours of unlimited fun and laughter....There was hardly a minute of silence maintained. Anyone who had seen the way we were laughing and enjoying, would have surely refused to believe that was all our first meeting...

All the children were finding company with other IL’s sons and daughters and they too were happy to be left on their own, enjoying within themselves. The meet was supplemented with sumptuous drinks and snacks.

Even before the gettogether ended, we ILites started discussing about having another meet…hopefully we should have it soon, where more ILites can join us and take part in the fun and frolic. It was a wonferful feel to see each person beyond their login name and to get a chance to interact with like-minded persons, it was so nice and refreshing. For those of us who were missing a good friendly crowd in Qatar, the yesterday IL’s meet was the ideal feast.

Hip Hip to IndusLadies and to the group founder Malathy but for whom this meeting could not have happened. Thanks for giving us such a wonderful set of friends.

Hope to fill you up with more fond memories of the future doha IL get togethers. Come oon Doha ILites lets have more fun in the future meetings too.

that was a nice write up and yet another il meet. looks like we are becoming examples of what we call the global village.

As written by Preethi we dohaities had a wonderful evening. First of all thanks to Bala for arranging.
I must say:
Preethi is very good person, easily mingles with everyone as if we know each other for a long time . Preethi is really sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Yes preethi my daughter name is Megha.
Bala like you ,your son also took care of his new friends , my kids enjoyed a lot.
I was happy to meet other ladies also revathi(explosive grenade) her jokes and continuous hahahaha hohoho thanks revathi I enjoyed ur company.Mallika(santoor mom) sweet 16 ,lekha very silent person, lekha my daughter enjoyed siddi company. Anu as come all the way from Alkhor we were all happy to meet her very silent person.

Your meeting sounds great. I am surprised at the number who got together..great show.
Preethi, your write up was very good . You gave a vivid breakdown on each of the members and now I feel I know them too.
Bala must have been one great host...nice knowing you all.

Wow, what a great time we had . It was a big blast . It was full of fun and we all felt like very much like college girls . The kids too had a very good time knowing each other . Come on friends , preeti has a kept a name for all us . Shouldn't we also give her a name ?
Preeti is DOHA ROCKSTAR . How is that ? Hahaha . I think She and Bala were the ones who initiated the meet . Big Thanks to them .

It was really good to meet Revathi , Lekha , Latha and Annapoorna . All of them were friendly and as Preeti has mentioned , it was not like our first meet. By the way , Latha , I though I was 18 . Thanks for reducing 2 more years for me . Hahaha........
