| Dear Kamla Undoubtedly the Moderator of Ideal Indian Home must have been the ideal hostess to our esteemed Induslady. Your write up took me to your wonderful home and made me a part of the get-together. Your visual treat of photos of the spread made me wanted to fly all the way to your place. The spread itself speaks volumes of the effort and time you must have spent in the kitchen. Waiting to see pictures of all of you together once Malathy is back.

| Dear Kamala, It must have been great to see some one with whom you have interacted only online ....that too if it is the craetor of the website, then all the more excitement and fun isn't it! Now i know that i can drop by any time and meet u.....what a spread , so we do have another Chitra ma'am, in US! Hey ILites in US, and all over make a note and let's make a beeline! All said and done, it feels good isn't it, to meet a virtual friend in Real! And also it does not feel strange and somehow we seem to know so much more , from the heart na? This is how it felt when i met Chitra, Vidhya and Sundari in person and when i talked to Meenaprakash on the phone! No strangers.....we felt more bonded! So ma'am, be prepared.....already planning my visit!

| Dearest Kamla, Did my system have to "conk" just 3 hrs, before you posted the message followed by your spread ? Now, you cooked so well, it is "clean wiped" by the time I read this & now I have nothing left over ! I am so fed up of seeing my own spreads in this forum that it is a delight & pleasure to see your spread here. Do rush to me your Fresh Fruit Flan recpe - my mouth is watering ! Yes, we have the most warm & friendly "First Family" - in I L . My three cheers to them !! Lovely write up - well, it is like mentioning, as we say, Thirunelvelike halwa or Maduraike mallikapoo, when none other than kamla starts a thread ! Love, Chithra. |

| Dear Kamla, You should have lived somewhere in the West Coast. That was the first thought that popped up in my mind, when I saw your beautiful write-up and even more beautiful pictures of the food. Well if you had lived in the West Coast, I could have jumped on for the meeting. I could not traverse 4000 miles, obviously. Now coming to the meeting. The first impression is that it had been a meeting of some of the most beautiful minds of IL, including the one which conceived and created it. I talked to Malathy and Jey, a few days after I landed up in Seattle and from the tenor of their voice, I could sense that they treat IL as their own sweet little Kaavya, showering affection and showing their utmost care and attention. One thing I am missing is the pictures of the people. Looking forward to see them soon. Malathy-Jey, I know you have the pics. When are you going to post them? Reading about meetings like this I feel that IL is eminently fufilling its purposes - of creating bonds between people, forging community ties among people who live thousands of miles away from each other and generally increasing the quantity of love in the world. The moderator of the Ideal Home Forum has proved that she "walks the talk". Well I have to look into myself to see if I have enough punyam to be hosted by such a gracious hostess. May God bless all of you and keep you all happy always. With Love, |

| Dear Meenu, You always shower me with such loving words that they are almost palpable! Well, to be frank, the get together was not about perfection or VIPs ! I am done with my lot of etiquette and formality , left it back in Germany !! We simply enjoyed each other's company and relaxed! Nothing is planned, whatever happens is welcome !! L, Kamla |

| Dear Laxmi, Thanks for the kind words. I am glad that you enjoyed reading and looking at the spread ! Jokes aside, it was a very pleasant get together and I am awed by them, they both have achieved so much at such an young age. L, Kamla |
