I L ites lunch on 11th august 2007 & 13th Sep in Chennai

Dear Friends,
It is yet another I L ites meet, today in my house, though a small , but cosy one !
Abhising (Vijee) has come to India from Singapore for her sister's wedding. Ever since she landed, we have been in touch by mobile. We had fixed up for a lunch at my house today.
She came with her young son Abhishek. From the day she joined I L, we have neen in close touch by PMs, but met her only today.
She is very petite, but very sweet & very soft spoken. Se extended her stay in Chennai specially to come home & meet me.
Vijee, I cannot thank you enough.
Friends, my menu was
Sapota halwa
Basundhi
Raita (with inside of capsicum)
Capsicum paruppusili
Brinjal - legumes kootu
Vazaithandu salad
Vathakuzambu sadam
Pauppu rasam
Milk vadai
Thayir idli
I had invited yet another I L ite (read next post !) & needless to repeat, we had a very enjoyable time.

Dear Friends,
Yet another "Oh, cho chweet" I L ite who joined our lunch today is
Pavithra Sriram.
She is the youngest I L ite, I have met so far. She returned from London on Monday & promptly phoned to me on tuesday.
I invited her to join us today so that she could meet Abhising also.
Pavithra is a "real beauty" - a kutti baby, who has just turned 21. She is the younger sister of Sowminivibu & both sisters are "great patrons" of my forum.
Sriram also talked to me very enthusiastically, but since he had work today, I plan to invite him, later.
It is unbelievable that a 21 year old could enjoy my company & chitchat with me very enjoyably. Of late, my ego is literally taking wings !
The bond we share in I L is so strong that when she first phoned to me, she said that I must make basundhi when she comes home. Ofcourse, that was the dessert today.
Pavithra, I hope you enjoyed it !

it is so nice to see another met of ILiites. You are rocking, young lady! I hope your GDs don't get a complex now, you are getting so many young friends!
It is so nice to see other members in photo at least. IL is becoming stronger with such meets and interactions, I am sure.
Both the girls are looking so very happy and thrilled to have met you and spent time with you, it is only natural. And the swing has become an integral part of all IL meet photos .
Who is coming next?
i never felt that I was staying so away from Chennai proper all these days, but now I do feel that .

Surely they would have enjoyed your company and your food.Your house too will be become a landmark in Triplicane and in future there will be sign near the entrance of your street showing the way to your house.
