Until what age should we celebrate kids b'day parties

My son will soon turn 5. I dont know whether to celebrate his birthday or not. Most of the friends we have stopped doing their children's birthdays. It seems we are the only family still doing the birthdays both for my daughter and son. My son will definetely enjoy if we celebrate his birthday party, because he gets to play with his friends. What is the age to stop celebrating birthday parties? If any of you are not celebrating birthday parties for kids, what do you do on that special day? Thanks.

As long as the kids enjoy their B'day parties,we can continue to celebrate it.Here most kids celebrate with parties until they are 9 or 10 yrs old.

When our elderly politicians,actors etc.are having huge B'day bashes,there's no reason to worry about celebrating our little one's B'day.
