Dear vandhana and others,
I saw this thread only now and i was PMing to induslady as to what is the exact difference between forum and subforum.Because the thread "kids food guide pyramid" belongs to the forum parenting and kids,sub forum baby/kids food.On seeing the answer i really got confused.But induslady had PMed me back saying there was a detailed discussion going on.Stepping back,as other Ilites suggested ,not so specific abt Contest and all,but still i want to clarify.If the answer to kids food guide pyramid was baby/kids (forum)food the how come the answer to the thread "Cinnamon wirh honey" be healthy foods sub forum.
Vandhana mam,u have evaluated according to a idea,fine.But that must be applied to all the questions.
I totally agree with vase.If the forum for kids food guide pyramid was baby/kids (forum)food then how could the forum to malathy jagan's letter be parenting&kids/teens.

I agree to the rules of the contest.But the idea keeps changing day by day.

Secondly keeping the answer to kids food guide in mind we would have answered accordingly but the answer was again different.

I again repeat omemyself's words.I respect your decision.But that decision only should be appiled to all questions.The decision should not change.If it has then it has to be intimated.........(Though i go deep,it is my view)

Please clarify my dear vandhana mam.

Thank you for participating in this contest cheerfully so far and expect the same for the rest of the contest. We read your points about the questions posted on 17th & 18th. Just want to clarify a few things and get moving forward.

First of all, the word "forum" can be used interchangeably between main and sub-forums unless you want to get very specific.

17th question was worded as just 'forum', we didn't want to be very specific in asking sub-forum and make the question explicitly easy.

Having said that, when one goes into 'Parenting & Kids' forum they don't find the thread 'Kids food guide pyramid'. Since it is found only within 'Baby and Kids foods' forum, we expected majority to give that answer. That's what the majority answered too.

18th question was worded specifically as forum and sub-forum, having used the word forum alone the previous day. Hope we have the liberty to word questions differently.

We expected the answer to include both forum and sub-forums name and that's what was given in all the right answers.

At the end of the day, it is just a competition and we want everyone to take it sportively as you have always been doing. Why get serious and say ideas / decisions are changing? We also need to make the questions tricky to get those "smart" IL'ites to the final round.

BTW, there is a lot of room for the top 50 contestants - so no worries and continue participating. Good Luck!

Thanks for your patient clarification of all the details.We are definitley taking all this in a true sportive spirit!

At the end of the day we all want everything, to be justified ,for everyone! That was the point in raising this concern because perception definitley differs

Thanks for ur patience on replying to us.As i said in the very begining itself,i just needed a clarification.Definitely i am not at all serious.As imemyself said,perception differs.We will surely take it in a sportive spirit.The fact ideas/decisions changing is my point of view.Nothing to get serious.

Thanks for the clarification and we definitely are more excited ( as if doing the orals in final exams ) and moving on. The sense of participation is much more fun and I totally forget that the contest will end soon.

Now Vandhana, regarding the answer for 19th Q, is giving the minimum requirement of 2 members and their thread be considered as the correct answer or should I have given all the 4?

The question was pretty clear that we needed only 2 names and the titles of the thread.
I , in my post to the answer, gave all the possible ones, since we have that many and a lot of members had sent in a wide combo of answers.
So if you gave two thats perfectly okay.

for your commitment and the questions. V I I keep checking though i don't participate, )yesterday i saw a different question in the morning and it was changed..but the second one was very good one.

The same goes for the question about Malathi's letter, it is definite must for a mom who has a teenager ready for college, isn't it...


I only wish all the enthusiasts who use the search option really go through those threads.

For the answer to March 19'th question , you had also mentioned that you will PM those who gave the wrong answer! I think this can be done for all the questions, so that each ILite knows who made the mistake and where!!
I know it might be a tedious task to filter and then PM those who gave the wrong answers, but if u think its feasible then pls do!!
Just a suggestion!!

Hi Jaya,

With regard to yesterday's question, i have given a detailed explanation in the answer post itself. Apart from this, there were a few, which i handled through PM. Its not feasible for me to PM each and every ILite who has made mistakes .I am sure that when i post each day's answer, those who made the mistake will know that they sent in the wrong answer.
It takes up a lot of time to tally the answers and keep track of each contestants responses, so hope you will understand.
