IL Treasure Hunt Final Questions - Set 3

Most Gracious ILites,

Team C congratulates the treasure hunters who have entered the finals and those who have moved on to today's questions

As you are now aware we have a different set of rules for Finals.

1 The Finals will be for seven days ending on the date of IL Anniversary, i.e .29th March, 2008.

2 Only those who have given right answers to the questions asked on 24th March are eligible to answer today's question. Answers sent in by any other ILite will not be considered.

3 There will be two questions every day in the Finals. You will have to answer them both.

4 The questions are bound to be tough in the Finals. It is possible that with toughness some degree of ambiguity might creep in. Team C has had enough discussions on the questions and answers. Needless to say Team C is well-equipped to handle any issues on ambiguity and that the decision of Team C is final.

Question 1

One of our popular bloggers wrote a piece comparing two rich and famous men. Give the name of the member and the title of the article.

Question 2

What is the following slokam meant for? In other words, why should we recite the following slokam?
Asaadhya sadhaka swaamin, asaadhyam thava kim vathaha; Raama dhootha dhayaa sintho math kaaryam saadhaya prabho

You have time till 9:30 AM Indian Standard Time, 26th March 2008 to send in your answers.

Take your time. Search for these particular pearls in the treasure garden of IL. Once you know the answer...

1) Go to your private message section (on top right corner below the login section).
2) Click send new message.
3) In the Recipient/User name type the word "Contest" as username.
4) Type "Answer for March 25th Question" in the Title field
5) Type the answer in the body of the message and click submit message.
6) Please do not send in multiple answers. Only the first answer sent by you will be considered.

The answers to Final Round Questions Set 3:

1. Kamalji's Vijay Mallya vs Warren Buffet.

Many of you had sent in other articles, but the question clearly asks for comparison between 2 rich and famous people. The articles that a few of you sent in were either in content or in the numbers different than the one specified above and hence we had to mark it wrong. Some of you have used the term Blogger literally to search for the article. Anyone who puts down an original piece of work is a blogger.

2. The sloka is recited " to attain the impossible" .

If you have given your answers worded a little differently but essentially meaning the same for eg: achieving the impossible, i have given it as correct.

Please look out for the List of eligible contestants who can participate in Day 4 of the final round.
