Here is the question for day 19 - March 19th 2008

A few of our members have written about teaching kids financial responsibility. Can you name atleast 2 members, and the title of the threads they started?

4) Type "Answer for March 19th Question" in the Title field
5) Type the answer in the body of the message and click submit message.
6) Please do not send in multiple answers. Only the first answer sent by you will be considered.

PS: The March 18th question will be closed at 9AM IST today. No more entries will be accepted for the same. The right answer to the March 18th question will be posted shortly in this thread.

We are in the home stretch now for the qualifying rounds.

Coming to the answer : There are 4 threads that discuss teaching financial responsibility to children, one in the money matters forum, two in school goers and one in snipets of life.

They are:
1. Malpsie: Enforcing Money power on Kids

2. Indira : Teaching Kids about Money

3.Rajmiarun: Kids and Money

4. Rajmiarun: Lessons to teach children.

There were a few responses which gave Uma's Kids want more than i can afford, but since that is more of a request for advise on how to handle the situation, we cannot consider it as correct. Whereas the above four , the thread starter has explicitly dealt with the topic of financial responsibility.

There were also a few responses where the member gave the name of the thread and all the members who had participated in the discussion. This is also wrong.


We had a total of 50 entries, 39 were correct, and 11 were wrong. I have given the reasons for the wrong answers, and i will also PM those with the wrong answer .
