One behalf of each and every member of this community, it gives me great pleasure to greet our own founder and member primus inter parus- Induslady on completing 1000 posts in this site!

By now, we all know that the young lady posting in the name Induslady is Mrs Malathy Jey. Malathy is not just one woman, she is a procession of women. A young mother, wife, daughter, an engineer/professional, a migrant Indian woman in the US, she has achieved something that many of us have only longed for. Establishing an online community extending from Madras to Austin, from South Africa to Croatia spanning 5410 members and 50137 posts. She truly epitomizes Browning’s words, 'ah, but a (wo)man’s reach should exceed her (his) grasp, if not what is a heaven for?'


Malathy’s success lies in the simple fact that she makes her presence in Indusladies as friendly and non-intrusive as only a true leader can do. Her lead posts, her guiding posts, her admin posts- each one of them teaches us and tells us that more than anything, this lady is a friend to each and every one of us in this community. Be it her posts in What for Dinner tonight, or the daily news, or in enforcing Forum Etiquette, or in curbing infractions in the site- Malathy has a simple charm and effusive grace that bowls over all of us with her words!

We all dream. But Malathy has taken her dream ahead, she has expended financially, physically and emotionally in this venture. With her efforts, the site Indusladies has grown from a mere blog-site to a web community(Varalotti Rengasamy ). Indusladies today is a treasure house of recipes, spiritual information, fashion, money matters and above all a support group for woman all over. Many women find solutions and solace at the click of a mouse, thanks to this site. And most poignantly, there are many women who hae carved their niche in Induladies( Kamla). And there are many whose voices are heard only in Indusladies, whose emotions get a reponse only in Indusladies. Probably it is the support group feature that makes Indusladies what it really is.


If today, Indusladies is an institution bigger and better than its founder and than all its members, it is due to this gal who dared to chase a rainbow, get the pot of gold and share it with her sisters (and brothers)!


‘To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield’- Malathy is Ulysses all over in modern feminine grace and strength. Induslady- this is just the beginning. May more milestones tower for you and Indusladies.

You are an ocean with so many rivers flowing in, and making many waves to tell the world their magnitude, to have their presence felt, u have allowed to fill their frustrations, ambitions to be writers, chefs in their own right, men with vedantham also great varalotties serial engrossers,I could go on, you are also the light house beam to many of us here, in exposing us to a new world of expressions, people who longed their writings are not recognized are flooding their words here, many a young woman are telling their heart rending stories to get healed through all our superior members here, various ailments of the body and mind is getting healed here, many to share their woes with the lot are also here, Indus has outgrown your own target and is growing with more and more rivers flowing in making waves, your platform has become an addiction, solace, ambition, I could go on, I am finding it difficult to bring you into this small frame, in a condensed form, which is not justifying still - hats off oh lady u need a greater salute, a small shot from me for your 1000 runs….of posts mostly healing….I know waves never stop so there are more thousands to come…good luck and may god bless you with kind regards sunkan

My hearty congratulations to Mrs. Malathy for achieving the significant milestone of 1000 posts! As Vidya has said, her leadership qualities are truly amazing. How do I say this? From my own personal experience of course!
I once deleted all my posts from IL in my attempt to group them under one head. Within a couple of days, there was a private mail from Malathy wanting to know why I have deleted my posts. When I explained the position, she restored all my deleted posts and encouraged me to carry on my good (?) work! To say that I felt touched would be a gross understatement of the year!
I was amazed how the numero uno of a great site like IL could take such personal interest in individual contributors like me. I have no doubt that under the stewardship of this multitalented personality, IL would grow into a mighty force championing the cause of women all over the world.

So you reached the milestone and a well deserved one too. V24 has said all there is to say, so I am just going to say" amen " her writings.
