That is a very generous greeting indeed! I may not yet deserve it but be assured that I'll not rest on my oars until I make myself reasonably deserving of it.
Record breaking is nothing new to me. I have broken so many of them even in my childhood and got a thrashing for it from my dad! I mean the 78 RPM gramaphone records that I broke!
IPL is definitely new to the Indian scene from the point of view of the scantily dressed cheer girls. Even cricket haters like Bernard Shaw will now make a beeline to the Stadium!

Being greeted thus by the veteran of this wonderful community has just made my day. I remember that when I made my entry into IL last year, you were away on a furlough.
It was kind of a blessing because I could sneak into IL during your absence and get noticed. I was amazed and even a bit jealous of your immense popularity but having joined your ardent circle of admirers, jealousy has been totally replaced by awe and inspiration.
