I L ites across the globe meet eachother !

Hello Everyone,
This is to share with all of you , how Vidhya, Vmur for all of us and i met at the Frankfurt airport!
Vidhya had some work and was going to be in Northern part of germany for over 2 weeks. Since it was a bit far away we knew it could be difficult to meet on weekends too. So Vidhya tried to see if she could take an earlier flight to enable us to meet at airport at least for couple of hours. So as planned last Saturday Vidhya called me at 6 in the morning to let me know that she has checked in at the airport.....
Here the weather was awful, continuous rain, and was wondering how i am going to take the bus to the airport which is about half hour away from my place. But after a lot of teasing from my hubby, which inspired me to definetely venture out, I finally landed at the airport. Vidhya was looking all sweet and beautiful in her orange kurti. It was really pleasant to meet her, we had a great time chatting and getting to know one another. As usual meeting an ILite happens so smoothly, there is an unseen bond connecting and we hit it off well. The 2 hours flew like a couple of minutes and i had to take leave.
But unfortunately Vidhya's flight was 6 hours late, which i did not know till yesterday.....i wish she had called immediately.....we could have spent more time together! That was the only sad part for me,:icon_frown: felt very bad that she was sitting here all alone for so long!

So thats the Story of how one ILite from US meeting with another one in Europe took place.....and i hope we all keep meeting one another and keep BONDING from far and wide!

I have met you as well as vmur, individually as I L ites & so I can imagine how enjoyable it must have been to both of you !
Yesterday I met Mohana, Madurai Ponnu ! Her husband was astonished that we could tak non-stop for almost 2 1/2 hrs ! I thoroughly enjoyed meeting her.
Last week Anjana came home for lunch & we were together for a long time with non-stop I L talk, ofcourse.
A few have promised to come home this month. Looking forward eagerly to meet my young friends - it is a breath of fresh air for me at this age !
God bless M for creating I L - the wonderful bond between all of us !

Reading about your meeting with Vmur sounds interesting. I am sure both of you had a great time getting to know each other face to face.

Hope you then had a smooth trip to your destination. Nice of you to take an early flight and make it a point to meet with a co IL ite. Sad that you then had to wait for so many hours alone. These flight delays make us go crazy at times :icon_frown:.

I am sure you would have captured the kodak moments with Mohana and Anjana. Where are they posted? If it is yet to be, please post it so that all of us will get to know the faces behind those usernames.

More coming home this month, so it should be more photos...right?

I pray God to shower you with more energy to keep hosting IL ites in your sweet home. Also, thank you God for giving this "lovable lady" to IL, who makes the bond formed in this virtual space into reality through her hospitality.
