| Here I am to share about a wonderful evening myself and Kavya too had with our Chitvish. "Wonderful" might be a lesser term to describe the evening. Chitvish and her entire home was filled with so much warmth and love. Me including (kutti Kavya) never had even a slight feeling that we were in a new place meeting CV, Mr. V and Manasvini(CV's grand daughter) for the first time. We completely felt at home. We had a great chat about what else other than IndusLadies and IL'ites. About those initial days of IL to what it is today, about the interactions amongst the IL'ites and Chitvish. She was bubbling with energy talking about IL and IL'ites. I was so happy to hear how well people are connecting in our online community. Needless to mention about the dinner spread Chitvish hosted. There was so much variety and my taste buds wanted more and more of the delicious food. Lauki Halwa, Carrot salad, Cucumber oothappam, Vadai, Methi pulao and Sabzi, Kamala orange rasam, Pasta, Thayir idli, Cheese cake and more. (Note: Chitvish kindly pardon me if I missed out mentioning any of the items or mentioned anything by a different name - enakku saapidathaan theriyum and when presented with such great food me or my taste buds hardly bother what it is except for having more of it Both myself and Kavya returned home with gift hampers filled with lots of assorted gifts. I liked the personal touch Chitvish showed by greeting us with a small card written by her hand. Chitvish was kind enough to pick me up and dropped me at my place in person inspite of getting back so late in the evening. I am attaching a few pictures we took this evening. Do take a look at the dinner spread and you will be tempted for sure. I wish I was in Chennai, so that I can meet with her frequently to have fun with such great food. Mrs. CV, Thank you for so much love and affection showered on me and Kavya. I am dumbstruck by the warmth, love and affection showered. I really felt at home and enjoyed this evening so much. You made me feel very special. PS: IL'ites do make it a point to meet CV when you are in Chennai. If you don't you are really missing something great! | Dear Friends, This evening was very memorable for me, meeting our dear young charming Induslady ! Kavya is a real live wire & was playing, very much at ease. She is a very sweet baby, smiling a lot. Malathy, you are so unassuming and full of warmth & love. The photo, posted above is a typical Three Generation Photo ! I enjoyed your company, immensely, my dear Malathy ! May God bless our community for forging such bonds across the globe - I cannot ask for anything better in life, at this age & stage ! The best is yet to be. Love, Chithra. Last edited by Chitvish : 12th May 2007 at 01:28 PM. |

| Dear Malathy, Just logged in and the first post my eyes caught was yours! You lucky thing, you are making all of us envious. Chithra's fab spread for you looks fabulous. I am sure it must have tasted fantabulous:)) Even Chithra got lucky. Her glowing smile in the picture says it all as she holds the original Kavya ma'm, our rightful bossini, in her arms:)))) I thought it was awfully generous of you to share those pictures with us. The happiness has spread as far as the US upon seeing the pics, needless to mention other parts of the globe too. Chithra and you look lovely, should specially mention your colourful and tasteful outfit and Chithra's classic sari. Kavya is a doll. Perhaps, thanks to your brilliant idea, the proverbial Vasudevakutumbam is proving to be a reality. Chithra, you sure are the hostess with the mostest:) L, Kamla |
