Dear Chithra,
I was only an employee at TELCO ( TATA MOTORS) at present, where we used to get bonus and exgratia before Durga Puja. As the blogging and Faces behind the names were simultaneously posted on Vijayadasami day, it reminded me the bygone days!

I didn't understand what exactly you are saying here. does it mean we should not worry if somebody hurts us..

If you feel hurt by what X or Y says wrongly about you, why do you get hurt at all? Have you given him or her any power ? He may be doing it out of sadism, ignorance, jealousy etc. Why should it bother you at all? If you know you are right, this should not hurt you at all. If so, it means you have given him the power or right to hurt you, thereby falling a prey to his intention to hurt you.Be answerable to your own conscience. Period.
This is one of my favourite one liners.
