Question Microwave cooking

does cooking vegetables using microwave oven destroy the antioxidants in the vegetables

Hi Deepa,

I am told by a famous cardiologies in Sydney that "90% of the nutritions is gone after keeping vegetables in microwave. "
Hence it is best NOT to cook veges in microwave.

Also cooking in plastic is not safe.

I would like to know if we can boil water in microwave. One of my friend said that we r not suppose to keep water alone in microwave.

Is that true?

its advisable to use only ceramic eventhough they say some plastic u can use in microwave, its not at all good for your health i use microwave for roasting suji, groundnut etc., only
