Where washing is concerned i am lucky to be spared most of the time as i am allergic to detergents. Being in joint family helps:)

Otherwise too what are the gadgets for...just pile it up switch it on and relax.

Hi Huma,
I used to clean bathrooms all these years, but now cleaning 3 bathroom every weekend is taking my time. SO now I have cleaners coming in every alternate week and they does the clean work.
I am kind of relieved now and doesn't bother much about cleaning.

Hi Madhu,
It is you and your family making a mess in the toilet.
So think before you make a mess

Hi friends
About the toiet cleaning.I feel the indian stye bathrooms are the best in every sense.Even after using for so many years i still hate the western sytle toilet. If there is a choice between indian toilet and western i definately go for a indian one.But in US ............. I hate it.

coming to the cleaning part i find it more difficult cleaning the bathrooms here as there is no outlet for water so all the water tht falls on the floor i have to mop it yukkkkkkkk. In India we can simpy use the broom for it.I dont know its's name but the one with fine sticks.
So bathrooms are the one thing i hate most here in US.Y dont these people have water outlet in bathrooms(other than bathtubs).EVery time water spills down i really hate wiping it off.

Hi,

One good thing over here ( in Singapore) is we can have either full time maid or u can have part time maid ( paid on hours basis) to the clean house!

And in public lavatories, we have both western & Indian style for pubic convience!

Dear Latha,
I too have same problem. But while watching TV(comedy shows, or some good movie), i peel the small onions. I don't feel the burden of this work. U can also try this.

Bye,
nandhini
