shifting

hello

we are shifting to a temporary house..

at present the house is a row of rooms
say five in number
hall kitchen bedroom bedroom bedroom
in that order
attached baths ofcourse
thatched high
with all amenities
fan fridge water etc
ya healthy and airy too
my husband/inlaws have been here for more than half a century
i am here for the past twenty five years...


shifting in the same compound
to a hall cum kitchen cum pooja
and a bedroom on the top
all mini compared to the now maxi
yaanaiyay kondu poonai ulla idathil vaikka muyarchi
(trying to fit an elephant into a place for the cat..!)
this little home is equally cute
under the jaamun tree..wow the sunrise is cute..
the birdies giving a wake up call..
monkeys to share lunch...(not yet)

our new house will be built
in the thatched portion now
with old/new technology
like using bricks instead of concrete
saving on cement
and a hollow in the walls for cooling
will try to explain as we proceed.
in case anyone is interested..!!

kamala poem vadivila...nice ya poet corner irukka maathiri theriyala..what with space near the compound space for the sump...eats up all space inside the rooms.... we will have compact ones with built in cool cool and cupboards...thankyou for all your wishes and imagination... sathya
