Good tips. As Mevitha said I used to hang clothes out instead of using the dryer.
Orangesandlemon is right it is best way of saving fuel by walking to short distance. It is also like a small walk but people who have vehicle have been so lazy that even to the next road they take their vehicle. I hope we can change them to walk and save fuel.
