Default Coconut Scrapper

Hi friends,

I need help to find a simple machine for scrapping coconut. I am having shoulder pain. So regularly i cannot scrap coconut.I am searching for a good one. Along with wet grinder or roti batter maker are practically not easy to daily use. Any advanced machine is available in the market. Pls. let me know.

Why dont you take out the coconut and shred it in the mixie.

For curry it is not nice. One more thing for daily use, mixie blades and motor gets damaged.Thats why i am preferring some easy one.

What kind of coconut scraper do you use now? Have u tried the one from Anjali?

Hi radee,

Now iam using premier scrapper. but it is very difficult to hold the coconut for scrapping.Because i am having shoulder pain. I didn't try Anjali.Are u using that one.

How is that?

Hi shree,

Yeah I use the one from Anjali...I think you are using a similar one too from Premier. As far as i know, this is the one that is available everywhere. If holding the coconut is a problem, why dont u ask someone to help you with that. You can ask your hubby or someone at home to scrape one coconut when they are free and keep it in the fridge and you can use it whenever u want.

hi Shree,
Here's an option you can try - its a bit longer and also hopefully it won't give much pain while doing it as compared to the c.scrapper.

Remove and grate the coconut pieces and then put them in the grinder. Should be better and grinds faster as well.

I too have the same question..................

I have done so much research in internet regarding this !!!!!!!

look in to this site Welcome to Thayabi Products Inc


Only alternate way is to cut the cocoanut in to pieces & put it in mixie. It is not very good for curries but what to do.
