Default goods disposal (washer/dryer)

Hi friends,

I am moving (within Atlanta) and I need to dispose my washer and dryer...I thought of selling them both. But now my dryer is not working. so I thought I need not sell my washer alone...(I bought both as a second hand from my friend)

Washer is working fine.So I had called some charity pickup ppl.

Where can I put my dryer and how can I dispose my washer if those ppl dont turn up.

Ideas please........

(my apartment ppl say they cant dispose it from dumpster)

Hi Karthika,

I think you have to call your local recycling people and they will take care of this...I found one website who does recycling of heavy things

Unwanted Applainces Electronics Furniture - Appliance Recycling and Removal for Denver, Colorado, Phoenix, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Columbus, Dayton and more

..........actually your apartment management should help and they should offer u the nearest cycling center phone number...ask them for help.

regards
srilak.
