Default Face changes during pregnancy

Hi,

Iam 15 weeks pregnant and my face started changing after I pregnant. This is my second pregnancy. I looked very shinning and fresh when I was pregnant for the first time and I delivered a girl. Now I don't feel like looking my face in the mirror only ! I look very dull and dark. Why does this happen to me? I am really happy about the pregnancy but then also I look very dull. Please explain me....

Indu.

Hi Indumathi,

Don't worry I'm also giving you company. First time with my boy I was glowing, my skin was in superb form. This time I'm supposed to be carrying a girl, my face is dry and as you say, dull. I thought it was due to winter etc., but then my son is also March-born:) I'm thinking of a facial... but I also suppose with each pregnancy our hormones also behave differently. And yes I'm already in 34th week... who knows your skin might change as pregnancy progresses... Latha

Hi ladies,
I also feel the same way. I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my second child and I look awful. I looked so fresh with my daughter, but now I don't look good at all. maybe I should do a facial. Can somebody suggest one that is safe during pregnancy?

Hi,

I think facial (herbal ) without bleach will be fine during pregnancy. Facial gives relaxation and good sleep.

Hello all..

I am 26 week pregnant, I noticed my face complexion is changing too. I got blemishes too, the skin is getting darker. My complexion is fair, so it shows more darkness on my face due to those cheek patches. My doctor told me it will go away in few months after the delivery. I am avoiding any kind of facial due to chemical contents in it, just use nivea cream sometime. I havn't colored my hair due to that reason too and won't do it untill I give birth, "mommy got black cheeks and grey hair" wish if its opposite...but what the hell, for baby sake its fine. Take care all.
