| Hi Maya, Its very nice that you are back at your mom's place. I can understand how happy you must be. Even for me, my nausea and vomiting had reduced considerably when my mom was visiting me. Now after she has left, it has become worse again. Have a nice time and eat your mom's food to your heart's content and enjoy your pregnancy. Take care. Smiles, Radhika. Quote:

| Hi Maya, Very happy to hear that you are being pampered well during your pregnancy. I was all smiles when I read that you had written down your food cravings so that you won't forget. You won't believe it, but I have done the same thing too.. I have made a list and saved it on my computer, and have decided to take it with me when I visit India next. Whenever I ask for something unique which we don't get here, my DH also says "Put it in your India list." Hope your having a good time. Enjoy and rest well. Take good care of yourself and the baby too..

| Dear Maya, Congratulations!! Don't worry be happy shpould be the Mantra for all the moms to be as it is said your mental state reflects on the child. Just one point for your reference...you said you are in the 5th month and will be returning to US after 2 months that will be the 7th month...please check with the airlines if they will allow you to fly in the 7th month...as there are some restrictions as far as my knowledge goes. All the best. |

| Hi Maya Congratulations....How lucky you are...I am in my second trimester and still get nauseous and throw up sometime, but its little better than before. I do miss my mom since I got pregnant. Even though I get pampered by my husband and he is taking good care of me. I miss the smell of my mom's kitchen and all the yummy food she cooks. And lots of other goodies which are not available here. Here I have to force myself to pick and eat. And most of the time either frozen or restaurant food, because I still got food aversion and smell. So, eat as much as you want now. I have list too, can I send you that :D. I would like to go to India too, but going by myself alone in pregnancy and the long flight then 4 hours drive from the airport to my city scares me. And morover staying away from husband I don't think I can live without him for long time. My due date is in August, my mom can't come right now, because I got seven months niece back home. But my mom will be coming to help me in august. So, may be that time, I will get way more spoiled and pampered. Make sure you check with your airlines that if you can travel in 7 month or no. Take care. |
