Default Sex during pregnancy

Ladies,

One delicate question that I can't ask a whole lot of other people. How did you all handle the aspect of sex during pregnancy? My doctor keeps telling me (when my husband is there) that sex during pregnancy doesn't hurt the baby in any way. In spite of that, I am nervous. Should I just abstain from sex during this pregnancy period? Is it a fair thing to do to my husband? 9 months looks like a long period. Any advice/anecdotes on how you all handled it? Thanks for your thoughts.

Its very normal to be nervous about this.. but dont worry, it doesn't affect the baby at all.. Just take it slow thats all

if u haven't already go through this site, www.babycenter.com .. great site for pregnancy, baby stuff.. go through the bulletinboards.. u can see all sorts of discussions about all topics.

Goodluck!!

Default To add to this discussion...

I have heard from one of the OB say that if you have the following signs better to avoid sex during pregnancy:

1. If the placenta is straight to cervix, they expect it to move. To aid the movement one of the things advised is not to have sex.

2. If there is spotting from the vagina, it is advised not to have sex for it may increase the bleeding.
