Hi Ladies, why not we start some grandmom tales abt pregnancy, like-

1. Heartburn may mean a hairy baby.

dear srini,
i got saffron from direct italy and it came out in my second child my priya is still grouchy to hear that..even now she is screaming at me for eating avakkai while i was carrying her...sunkan

Craving Something…Sweet? Many people believe that your cravings are caused by the sex of your baby. So, if you can't get enough sweets/chocolate, you could be having a girl.

If it is small, it is a baby boy.

if you are beaming radiant! its a girl, if you have dark lines around your neck and face in general is darker than normal its a boy!!

Hi All,
Though I am not eligible for this forum, still I would like to share what I heard from ladies.
If you have crossed your EDD, then you are going to have a girl baby and if you are in the hospital before EDD, you are going to deliver a boy baby.
Also, iy you will eat plenty of ghee with juggary, you will have a healthy baby.
If you will eat more rice and related food, your baby will be a girl.......I have no idea how punjabis give birth to girls as they mostly prefer Rotis.......

Wierd one....
if you drink ghee from 2 months on,before your delivery,the baby will "slip" out easily.
My M-I-L asked me to do this I refused. I said if any doctor tells me and proves it has a medical truth to it i will do it.
I didnt, and thank heavens i didnt , I had a C-section.Or else i wud have that extra weight n cholestrol to fight off now.
