best schools in hyderabad? mothi nagar or kukatpally

hi everyone,

my name is Kiranmai. I live in US and know i am going to 8th grade. After 8th grade i was thinking of coming to India to stay. More about me im 14 know i will be turning 15 soon while im in 8th grade yes its very bad for some because im the oldest in my class. Its all because i have failed once and struggled once and means i have failed 2 times when i was in 2nd grade. I came to America i still haven't passed 2nd grade in India but once i came to America its not because of my grades or how i was doing i don't know why they have to do it but they had to put my older brother and me back 1 grade law i think which i started 1st grade all over. Apparently America is the easiest way to learn. Know look where i came i would have still be in 2nd grad by know if im in India.. My point is i miss India my brother will stay here so is my dad well my brother would be in hostel and were just thinking my mom and i will stay in India.

So i need the best school for me that will suit..

1. has to have a swimming pool
2. has to have sports competition
3. has to have choir
4. [may be] band and orchestra
5. no hindi or telugu i can't write or read but i know how to speak telugu
6. doesn't want uniform or may be if there's everything from the list then its okay but i prefer no uniform just wear whatever we want.

schools my mom think i am not good for is SliverOaks my cousin goes there he has a bigger brother also but for me there both still are little cousins well his bigger brother has been kicked out of the school because of his grades. my mom thinks the school is going to be very hard for me since all my studies in America for 8 years. My aunt is a teacher and she looked at my work and said she teaches 7th and 8th grade work is similar to 3rd and 4th graders. so i don't think i will be going to that school but it does sound like fun.. but i can't.. so i need help what schools are there else that has swimming pool sport and competition and choir band and orchestra.

i play voilin and i have been in orchestra for 3 years since they only allow it from 5th grade.. i also sing i been in choir for 5 years including 8th grade i am taking but i quit orchestra but i am thinking of joining back in 9th grade in india that's the best way but okay.

P.S i live in mothi nagar please help me a school close to where i live it may be okay also if its in kukatpally that's where my 2 cousins live.


please list the schools according to my list. and may be if so give me some info about it or does it have site.

i live in mothi nagar close to kukatpally.. im going to settle in india after i finish my last 8th grade in America.. so i will be starting 9th grade in india.

i have to have a special school that don't teach telugu or hindi.. which i can't read or write but i can speak telugu..

thing that the school may or needs...

6. no uniform <--- that's not necessary
7. no teaching telugu or hindi i would fail so bad
8. drama or action and dancing..

i can't go to school in kukatpally which is called SliverOaks
i don't think i would fit in that school,
since i have been living in America for 8 years.. so please help
and its okay to have uniform and its okay to not have some of the things
i am looking forward to.. but i really wish there would be competitions choir and pool. thanks

Are you planning to take admission for the next academic year(2010-2011)??Because its almost 1st term assessments time in schools for this year,I guess admissions are closed for the current year,just check out by meeting in person at schools.

Your preference is in and around Kukatpally,so here are few of them...

Regarding the facilities like swimming pool,choir,Indian school system is different from the US,here schools will have their respective activities but may not be all the one you have asked for and obviously more stress on studies.

Why are you leaving US and coming here???
Is it because of studies??
and you wont get the same here as you get in US
You surely need to adjust a bit
I mean education is best here but you are concentrating too much on activities that i don't know if anywhere you would be satisfied..
You can do something join a school which you think is best of what is available and for pool and all if not available you can go outside and sure the trainers there will have an idea about competitions in their fields attend them..

And just cause you stayed in US for 8 years dont think you cannot adjust here..I have friends who stayed there for even 10+ years and who came here after that..They could easily stay..They didnt even knew telugu there you are lucky

haha sorry about the other thread. well i understand and speak Telugu because my mom just dosen't know how to speak fluent English so its only my brother and i speak english propely and my mom.. so thats why i can still speak telugu because of my mom..last year i went to india for a vacation actually i have my personal doctor so i had a surgery... theres a big story to my problem also why i wanted to move but i cannot tell you that part. i know how the studies there are.. but i also need a physical thing in my body. you may know most indians are always studying don't do alot of sports attend but i want to be in both. you may think im only concertraing on sports after school my mom said i will defiantly have a tutor for me to help so its not gonna be a problem..and its not because of studies that i want to move to india. but i said once i can't tell you why its a family matter. sorry

yes i understand what you mean about the things that i wanted in school. i didn't want all i only expected them that's all also for the matter of fact i kinda did wrote on the description saying i can't go to sliver oaks. its going to be hard for me what there learning my cousin goes there and his older brother actually got kicked out of that school because of his grades. my mom think i won't able to pull it off since the studies are different from here to there. so i won't able to go to sliver oaks but thanks to the other 2 schools you have named i will check them.. but one problem would u please send me a link to their site if they have one.

but here lot of activity doesn't happen
most of the time it is all about studies studies studies
just try to get into something have a tuition later after school if it has activity
if school doesn't have activity try to have after school

I learnt martial arts swimming and dance when i was young in my schooling..and that is the right time when you can learn..once you come to college you may hardly find time for them..especially in India

thanks a lot that really meant to me. and yes i do know most everyone there always studying don't even have time to play i went there last summer and that's when the school start there..but there's also a problem my mom said after my school is over here 8th grade when i go back to india over there for the summer i have to join the school when i get it. its really confusing how to start a school and end it and still start another school year starting 9th grade in india..so confusing.. all i want to a school that does not teach telugu or hindi because i really fail at reading and writing so thats the problem also..but im still in the mood of thinking wheater to go to india and stay there or stay here.. its really hard to pick from my family problems im having if i stay in america but i can't choose. i asked my mom if i go there what school will i be put in.. and i really wish if a school have sports don't have to have swimming pool but sports and choir. i been singing since 4th grade i don't want to stop.

don't have to go through trouble finding the site links i have already check out and im sorry non of them are right for me. i didn't mind the uniforms but i did mind that i have told u i can't write or read telugu or hindi and i don't want to start know its going to be very hard and struggling for me since i was little.. i actually reminded u about the sliver oaks and know i have to remind you about the telugu and hindi again so can u please read before you post a reaply on it i can see u only looked at the word kuktapally or my title so thats y u got you so many mistakes here.. im sorry i didn't like the other 2 school it does not work for me but thanks for the reply and the luck..
