Reg: visit to Hyderabad

Hi All,

I am planning to go to chenni in December holidays and i want to shop in Hyderabad some good shopping centres . where we can get better qualities of shawlar, silver metel ornimantal dipped in gold, house hold items.

I am staying in Singapore. We are coming after 5 years, some good intersting places for teenage boys.

You need info regarding Chennai or Hyderabad? as you said you are visit Chennai for holidays and asked for shopping in Hyderabad!

Anyways in Hyderabad means you can find shalwar's almost in all mals and shopping center's like Begum Bazar, Madina, Badi Chowdi, Ameerpet, Secunderabad, Jublee Hills and more places. Laad bazar very famous for shopping for those visiting Hyderabad.

Comming to places in Hyderabad you can visit Historical Monuments like Golconda, Charminar. Gardens like Ntr Gardens, Lumbni Park, Sanjeevaiah park, Botanical gardens. Salar Jung Museum and AP State Museum are also famous museum's.

And if this your first visit to hyderabad try these places like Hitec city, Shilparamam, Ramoji Filim city, Birla mandiihir.

My inlaws are staying in Chennai first i will visit them and come to hyderabad. I will do my shopping at Chenni and hyderabad. thnks for ur suggestion. I will note the places u told me.

Your teenage boys can have fun at IMAX theatre where you have movies as well as games. ALso theres a park in Banjara hills ( some Reddy park i dont remember the name) and a city centre mall few mtrs away.

For shopping Senorita has mentioned good no of shops. In addition for kurtis and mix n match dresses i particularly recommend CHEAPJACK in General bazar, secbad where they have good collection for reasonable prices. I recently bought many from there to US and all my friends keep asking abt it. Hope this helps you.

Is IMAX is just like cinemix in singapore? u mentioned about games , what type of games? Is CHEAPJACK is a shop's name?

Yup, cheapjack is shop's name.
Imax shd be similar to cinemax.Check this out :: Welcome to Prasads :: for the same.
You can also take AP tourism 1-day or 2-days tours which is well organised. We had been to Srisailam and it was really good. My kids enjoyed so much. THey have their own accomodation and also food joints "punnami" which makes it convenient for tourists.
