Dear all, now lets share our favorite eatings joints or places in Hyderabad and Secunderab. Ladies new to Hyderabad also can share or try any of the restaurants mentioned here by our fellow Hyderabadi ladies..

Now coming to the places we normally visit along with my family & friends and also my personal choice off course..

South Indian food - Minerava
Continental - Ohries
Icecream - Softy Den at Patny flyover
Birayani - Paradise / Bavarchi / Hyderabadi house
Chat stuff - Parklane circle, Gokul chat, necklace Road
Chinese - Mings court / nankings & Take away Home
Italian - Mischief (above MPM)
Pastries - Baker's inn & Country Oven
For Veg buffet - Tristar hotel at Secunderabad
Chill out - Cafe Coffee Day & Eat Street
B'day parties - Chopsticks
Junk food - Mc Donalds at I Max
Rajastani food - Dola-re-dhani
Best Haleem at time of Ramzan - Barwachi
Variety of Tiffins - Chutneys

Now am feeling yuuumm......y!!

Good thread Senorita. This will be helpful when I visit Hyderabad. I forgot the names, but there are some good dhaabas in the junction of Indira Nagar and Madhapur. Will post when I recollect the names.

I really want to come to hyderbad now.. When i am in hyd, i stayed in ameerpet so my list sourronds ameerpet, panjagutta..Here goes my list:

vegterian resturant - Sampradaya in ameerpet - the interior is very authentic and the food is also very good..
Non-veg -
Birayani - Evergreen Paradise, Bawarchi, Hyderabadi house
Natu kodi chicken curry / biryani - i didnt remeber the name exactly it is located in kukatpelly and that person is from godavari district even the shop name comes some thing like that.. its the best i had tasted ever ..

Nellore fish curry - its in ameerpet opposite to R.s .brothers i am not remebering the name.. there are two resturants side by side one is annpurna i think other one i am not remebering.. and annapurna is famous for prawns biryani..

chinese - Yochina at panjagutta circle and also Take away home

veg Buffet - Chutney's in Nagarjuna circle.. when your very much hungry then only go here.. the number of items are very huge.. eveyrhting from chinese to indian sweets icecreams..

Irani chai - alpha hotel in secundrabad, the best.. we used to go to secundrabad just to have tea there.. people will have 3 to 4 chai's at a time..

Tiffin's - udipi hotel in S.r.nagar..

chat - gokul chat in charminar

Meals parcel - harsha mess opposite to mithrivanam..

and the list goes on.. will add more when remebered..

Swagat in kukatpally is gr8,i ordered food for my housewarming function,
ohris in Banjara hills for both veg & nonveg is classic for buffet,what a superb taste,each & every item....
Kamat lingapur in Begumpet is also good...
chutneys for dosa....

That was a good piece of info, i've been to Hyderabad once, but was nt sure abt the hotels and had a hard time, as all the food were spicy, but ofcourse the sweets were yummy.

Its been about 2 years since my last visit to Hyderabad but my list is a very long one.

Biryani - Ofcourse, Paradise, Bawarchi n Hyderabad House

Indian restaurants - Southern Spice though its not so great these days, 'Hub' for their mushroom biryani n other traditional stuff, 'Malgudi' for their aapams and non-vegetarian food, 'Carrot' for their lunch buffet, Kaburas for their kababs, Fishland, Swagath and Annapurna in Ameerpet, Rasavati in Himayatnagar(don't know if they are still open)

Open air restaurants - I like 'Our Place' in Banjara Hills and 'Seventh Heaven' in Begumpet.

Chinese - Haiking in Himayatnagar, 'Nanking', 'Mainland China' and 'Chinese Pavilion', 'Cinnabar Red' in Banjara Hills

Continental - Ohris Himayatnagar n Banjara Hills

Others - Mantra opposite Amrutha mall, 'Tabla' in Banjara Hills, Masala in Jubilee Hills, Angeethi for the ambience and north-indian food, the frankies next to the Lifestyle building, Eat street for their fast food, Mischief, 36 Jubilee Hills, Haveli, Thai food in the Hyderabad Central food court

Vegetarian - Utsav, Chutneys n Minerva

Coffee shops - Barista, Cafe Coffee Day
Dessert - Baskin Robbins and Melting moments


Hope to visit atleast a few of the above places the next time i visit Hyderabad

All the chat joints at James street,secbad
Balaji chat opposite Paigah Plaza building in Basheerbagh.....the chaat here is yummy especially the sandwiches
Friends corner,AOC centre

South Indian: Kamat,Paradise and Clock tower
Tristar and Belson taj,secbad
Minerva,himayatnagar and somajiguda

For good ambience : Harahs near Chutneys,Bhills
Metro train,Havmor
