Hi Pari,

Nice to know that you are thinking of celebrating your parents 40th Anniversary.
Foll. are a few suggestions.

You can have a Puja first in the day and then party time in the evening followed by dinner. Can have some even management people to conduct a program for about an hour. or The family members can come up with some musical items.

If some one can write a song and all the members then sing it for them...the song can highlight about them...how they met, their likes and dislikes etc etc.

Alternatively you can come up with a small film about their entire life...need lot of photographs and someone to put in humourous commentary.

- Can send them on a holiday alone or the immediate family members i.e their childre, grand children, and their siblings and their parents can go to some nearby place for 2 days.

- Gifts will be according to their need.

Search for more links here...this topic has been discussed earlier too.

All the best.

Hi Pari, i wish your parents happy wedding anniversary..!!

First you put a note to all your close and near relatives to wish them on that day or make an pleasant surprise by visiting them..

You can offer annadanam on there name to poor people or to some charity or orphanage homes..

If any near & dear ones are far living ask them to visit on that day surprisingly and keep surprise get together.

Sending them on holiday is also wonderful idea.

If they have grand children ask kids to prepare greeting cards by some drawings and writings for there grand parents and give it on that day, they may feel very happy to see kids work..

Gifts depends on there need and wish..

Hope it will be great day for you all...!!
