Im also suggest like chhaya's suggesition,i do prefer the best fertiliti Dr.Mamatha Denadayal in Secundrabad.For gyenacologist in Fernandez Dr.Evita Fernandez in Abids.

I had a insurance that would cover for 1 time, since I ran out of that, now I am wondering to get it done in India, as it is expensive here and I don't want to take a loan to pay it, if I had to. Hope this helps.

I mean does the doctor allow us to withdraw seeing her, once the IVF is positive and also, will it be OK to travel during intial days of pregnancy, or atleast when is it safe to travel. Suggestions are welcome from people living in US and getting procedure done in India. As I am not sure, if I can stay in India for more than 6 months.

3) Do we need to book the appointment even before we travel to India, as this might speed up the process. If so, how to proceed.

4) How many days does it require for my husband to be in India for IVF and do we need to ask doctor the exact days, as my husband has to apply for leave in advance.

I haven't booked my tickets yet. Fortunately I stumbled upon this thread and hence wanted to know answers to my questions, so that I can decide to come to India and get my treatment done there.

I am so nervous though. I am hesitant to see my gynaec here in US as the results were negative with my first IVF and also, it is too expensive to get it done again.

This is just my experience and how i felt when I visited anu's. I went for IVf at anu's test tube center in 2004. There is no booking on appoinment basis. The center has no system and not at all organised. If you are coming from USA then everything u see at the center makes you frustrated. There is no cleanliness at the center. In the US they change the bed paper u lie on for every patient but here they use a blanket for all the patients. There is no privacy while they are testing you. Lots of people come in and go while u are in the room. There are lots of patients waiting in the waiting area. If you are a new patient you have to wait for a long time to see dr. anuradha. It might take your whole day. Once you are a patient there and your treatment starts the wait takes atleast half a day. I think we spent little more than 1 lakh rupees for the treatment and medicines. You might have to spend half of your vacation time at the clinic along with your husband. Be prepared.

just let me try in this forum first as it is specific to hyderabad.

i heard of two new fertility clinics - Kiran infertility centre and another Roya Rozati clinic in bajara hills. Has someone gone to either of these clinics ?

would you advise me to try in these clinics or no need for me to go here at all ?
