Independent villa in gated community

We will be returning to india for good in 2 yrs,we are looking for independent villa in a gated community in chennai mostly in pallikaranai/medavakkam areasand close to good schools.I like chettinad enclave so far but not crazy about their floorplan but love parks and playareas in the community and also the location looks its close to schools and IT companies.I see there is chettinad greenville coming up too has anyone moved into any of these communites,is it good as they claim it to be.I also came across The ferns and fell in love with their floor plan but location seems to be a little far from OMR am I right??
Is the any other gated communities that are planned close to omr,I'am not interested in apartments only independent villas.Please help and give your feedback on the above projects.
