Default question on evicting a tenant

hi
my tenant just moved to my flat before 6 months.we had a 1 yr agreement...
but he had been giving problem,right from the 3rd month...
what are the various ways, that i could evict him...
this is in chennai...is there any legal way i could go with....

vahrija,

If you have gone for a 11 month agreement, with both parties signing, you would have mentioned a clause of two months notice period, if either of the parties are not happy, so you can always issue a notice saying that you need the flat for your own use, as you are planning to shift there.

these days many tenants are taking nri's for a ride, they abuse the flat/house very badly. many people now opt to keep their property locked these days.
