Perungalathur is not so hot as it was during the boom, but right now i feel there are people sitting on the sidelines, be it buyers or sellers.
Sriram IT park construction is going ok. accenture has started working from the park.

Urappakkam on the main road costs 45 to 50 lacs today. last year places nearer to shriram park were sold at premium.
i am told anywhere from 35 to 40lacs per ground.

One of my relatives is looking around in GST Road surrounding for a plot. Can someone suggest a few good Nagars in and around Perungalathur area ? What are the prevailing per ground prices in interior areas of Perungalathur ? How is the ground water quality there ?
hi am residing near by.its true,per ground costs around 40-45 lac.even apartments like akshay homes,estancia,sis safaa is coming up,each aptmnt costs around 45-85 lac.
sissafa was launched at 3200. i do not know what is the current rate.
who said re in chennai is coming down.

How I missed a forum thread on Perungalathur, where I was born and bought up. Though I wont say, I know every nook and corner of this wonderful village turned town, I can say that this is a nice place to live in. With lots of temples, good schools, this area have become so important in the recent days.
Once there was only one bank, IOB, that too on the other side of the railway gate, now there are 4 banks IOB, (moved inside as the standard motors building is taken over by Sriram IT Park), Syndicate Bank, Indian Bank and HDFC bank(both of these in the same building).
After my marriage 10 years back, I have been just visiting my parents, but everytime I visit I see a new change in this every bustling place.
