Buying a plot near CTO colony Blue Jacker , West Tambaram

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I came across the forum and it was interesting to get lots of information from this forum. I am moving to Chennai in October. My parents have a looked at a plot 2400 Sqft near CTO colony , West Tambaram. Before finalizing it , I would like to get some info.
1) Is the location a good one ?
2) I heard the area is prone to water logginh. How bad is it. Does this area still has huge water logging problems during rainy season.
3) Is it a good and safe neighburhood.
4) the land rate for 1 ground is around 30lakhs. is the price reasonable or too high.
5) Is there any good schools with 2 to 3 km distance ?
I dont have much idea about this locality . Somebody please give us your thoughts and help me decide.
