Pain of searching for a house in chennai

I had a tough time looking out for a house in Chennai. Some funny experiences too. One house I went had no windows at all. It only had a one ventilator of the top of one wall per room.

It had the water tank right in the middle of the drawing room. Can you all believe it if I say they had the huge iron sump covering right in the center of the drawing room.

And what is the rent the quoted? 12k with 10 months advance.

Thank You I already settle in one. But our friend is looking for a 2BR house. He wants it in Adayar, Thiruvanmyur area. Pl let me know if yours is located there?

rent is 10 K with maintancece (water , common area cleaning)

It is difficult finding tenants. it is more bad on ECR/OMR and the suburbs. heard that there are lot of tolets.

the market is for the tenants. they can choose accordingly. what used to fetch 10k is going at 8k because people do not want to leave the property empty.

yeah..getting family is issue , Many Bachelors are ready to pay , but my family is hesitating ..mm..will see
