carpentery cost in chennai

Does any one know the current carpentry rates per sqft and can you also give some reference. I am looking for some carpenter for my newly constructed house.

The cost varies according to the job done.If u want to high quality like teak wood being used,that is a different rate,otherwise Padak,white cedar won't be that expensive.Do let me know if u need help with the labour,I can suggest depending on the work involved.
