Re: Discuss :- Modular Kitchens swetamk, You can get a reasonably good one at 1.5lakhs, provided you know what you want and are not taken for a ride by the wood work person. and this forum talks about chennai and not bangalore. i think you will get better response in the bangalore housing forum
Re: Discuss :- Modular Kitchens Hi , as a new member and new to chennai, i need some information about the modular kitchens. we have purchased a flat recently its time to woodwork. its a 2 BR flat and a nice kitchen, the builder provided granite slab in the kitchen,attached service area. now we are in confusion whether to go for modular or simple kitchen. our budget is restricted as we have to do some woodwork in hall, bedrooms also. so i am searching all the sites through google, everything looks same. in chennai can you suggest some shops or places where we find good quality wood work and people reliable to get it done and the time is limited, about one month. recently if anyone finished the work kindly suggest thankyou latha

Re: Discuss :- Modular Kitchens latha, I recently moved to my new home. i used my personal woodwork person, and right now he is fully booked till december. there is another person who is doing other flats and is quite reasonable too..infact he comes to your places, takes measurements, gives you options and also designs before the actual work. Wow, Shanti, thanks for starting the thread exactly when I was thinking to start one. My queries are exactly same, as I am planning to finish the organization of the kitchen. I would like to know about the materials and the approx cost also. I am yet to go through the replies in this thread and hope to get my answer! Though I am not sure how much I'll be able to do given the flat is in outskirt of Kolkata and my father is taking care of everything alone :hide:, me staying at far off...
