Default Rental companies to handle leasing a house

Hi Chennaites,

Our villa in Pallikaranai (Chettinadd housing) will be ready soon. We plan to rent it out for the time-being. Are you aware of any professional companies that handle leasing out properties and will also take care of maintaining the house, collecting rent etc.,?

Dear Latha

I am Sajna here and just went through the above message. Have a query about your villa in chettinadd housing....as i am planning to buy an independent house nd have been looking at this builder too.

First, let me reply to yours...you could contact firms like the Hanu Reddy realty who could help you out with leasing out your property. I remember a friend of mine did the same with his independent house and Hanu reddy helped him lease it to the American Consulate. Or if you wish to lease it out to companies say the IT companies...you may have to contact the admin dept...influence ofcourse is reqd. I am not too sure if the firms would assist in maintaining or collecting rent etc.

Second...you may reply to my query provided you are comfortable. I had contacted chettinadd housing for their projects at pallikarnai nd perumbakam. The cost seems to be extremely high...they quote 78 - 80L for deluxe nd 1.03 Crore for Premium. Was it the same when you booked, if not, when did u book ur house. Also wanted to understand if they were accomodative of any specific changes in the constructional aspect ...such as different tiles, different paint colour for interiors etc ...if you had any such requests.

With thanks & best regds
Sajna

Hi Sajna,

Thanks a lot for the info. I will follow it up.

Reg the villa in Pallikaranai... we booked it in 2006. Further details that you have asked I'll check with my husband and give you exact information. I too heard that the rates have increased tremendously since the time we had booked. My sil wanted to book a year after us and she felt so too. I hope to come back by this week-end:)
