Immediate need for a two bedroom flat for rent Please ladies help me

we are looking for an apartment for rent which could be within 5 kms from St. Michael's academy Adyar. My son is going to start his schooling from june 9 th , so we r looking for a shift. it is easy to get one if we approach a broker, but my husband is a problem in this , he is saying tht he will not give commission for brokers. ]

This is a big problem here, they are demanding one month rent as a commission, this is too much for areas like velachery , adyar, thiruvanmiyur etc., as we could not find a flat lesser than 10,000/-. i dony know what to do.

at present we are residing in keelkatalai, which is ten kilometers from the school. I dont want my son to suffer in traffic all the days.

If you ladies have a flat for rent in areas like velachery , little mount, koturpuram, thiruvanmiyur, adyar & besantnagar do PM me. my budget is 10k to 12 k, not more than tht. we r just three mmbers, my husband is a TCS employee and iam a house wife

you got to be kidding me. one month commision is nothing. For me, he is asking for 3.

A one month commission is normal in this area. watch out for the adyar times, velachery times local magazines which could also carry rental ads.

but a broker is a sure shot to get you a house of your requirement if you are willing to shell out his commission. you could also negotiate on half a month.
