Info on Pallikaranai

Hi, I'm planning to purchase a property in Perumal Kovil street in Pallikaranai. I'm not very familiar with the place. But heard that there are a lot of marsh lands in Pallikaranai. Can someone living in that area/familiar with the place please provide me with your valuable inputs about the region such as the condition of the ground water, if there is water logging problem during rainy season and current rate per sqft there.

Any inputs or suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

My parents are planning to move from Chennai to Kumbakonam. It is difficult to find property listing for Kumbakonam online. Are you aware of any website or any other means by which we could search for property near Kumbakonam? Thanks again.

I think there is water logging in that area during rains. Jus check it out.
